- Hello,
I run a program in Canton Mi., we service adults and children with sensory needs- we currently have three O.T. 's on staff that assist with the evalaution process and training families on how to help kids with sensory needs.
Let me know if there is anything I can be of assistance with, my son has been being treated now for over 5 years and is doing very well with all of the things we have implemented to assist with his sensory processing.

Paula said… - I don't use any particular curriculum. The county we live in has a website with all the skills needed for each year and I use that as a general guideline on what to teach. I use books, websites, anything to help him learn. Also we incorporate a lot of sensory activities and breaks. He loves it and is doing very well. He says he never wants to go to regular school. He had a very bad experience from his first week of kindergarten and we pulled him out. Now we know more about his issues and how to help him learn. We are all happier with homeschool. How is it working for you?
